A ripe nose of cherries, raspberry coulis, jam, spices and citrus peel. The palate is full-bodied with a juicy, rounded mouthfeel, supple tannins, fresh acidity and a generous, fruit-driven finish. Drink or hold.

88 POINTS - vinous.com
A blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Petite Sirah, the 2023 Theo-Patra’s Cuvée Cerise shows a nice balance of rusticity and textural polish. Turned earth, game and green herbs season a core of just-ripe strawberry and red cherry fruit. A flicker of reduction struggles to blow off, and the tannins turn a bit rough with air, but the 2023 is enjoyable for its old-school charm.
